Current Affairs: In present circumstances require up to date information for current affairs. Mainly focus on the current affairs of last three months and be aware of the major happenings of the whole year. Make sure that current events are related to economy and banking section. One should cover Current Affairs on a regular basis revise weekly and once before exam. Many offline and online sources are there for current affairs. This is the largest and the vastest section which includes:-

Source for preparing: Source for preparing GK is vast and time is limited so not to waste much time but must cover all topics related to it. There are many sources of general awareness such as GK Today website, PIB website, Newspaper, Speeches of RBI governor, Economic survey; Budget, Macroeconomics NCERT, bankersadda app etc. are few sources for preparing general awareness. For updated general awareness follow a study plan. Listen/watch News for 15-30 minutes on regular basis as this is the best source of ongoing current affairs in India and all around the world., read newspaper (The Hindu, Indian Express, Economic Times is recommended), make your own notes, give mock tests daily basis (this will let you know the ability and course prepared till date), read different magazines such as Pratiyogia Darpan, Wizards, Chronicle, etc. Newspaper reading is important component for preparing any government or bank exams. How to read newspaper for bank exams is essential for success in comprehension reading and general awareness section. In fact, reading an article in English will help not only to improve vocabulary, but will also the improve reading and questions solving skills. Read at least one newspaper article from each categories every day for better understanding the level of English/English grammar used in the context. Many pupils can say that there is not much time to read newspaper for exams but the newspaper articles are so informative that one cannot cover it in a reasonable amount of time. Be selective in reading newspaper, take newspaper and highlight newspaper articles related to National and International News, Sports, Science and Technology etc., analysis the highlighted article, note heading/title of the article, answer the phrases such as- what, when, where, how, why etc., and give reasons for the answers. Also note important figures and dates of the related day and date. When revision is done focus on these notes for better result. Give one Mock Test every day. This is an important part of time management and part of exam preparation. One should test himself/herself after completing the syllabus as this will let you examine the strategy and will improve skills of time management. A mock test simulates the actual test and the analysis helps to identify strengths and weaknesses, helps to determine speed and accuracy and helps improving on the part need more hardship. Time Management is crucial where there is large number of topics to prepare for. Be aware ‘What should be prepared?’, ‘How to prepare?’ for short and long terms goals make a time-table which will help in timely preparation for the exams. Set goals that can be achieved in the limited timeframe. Be positive and believe in yourself and preparations made. Recall at least 10-15 minutes a quick recap before going off to sleep all that learnt throughout the day. Do some exercises and meditation to improve concentration and avoid taking stress and pressure of competition.
